Black cohosh and liver injury

Black cohosh is traditionally used as a herbal remedy to treat various conditions. The Herbal Medicines Advisory Committee and the Commission on Human Medicines have concluded that available evidence supports an association between black cohosh and a risk of liver toxicity.
