A Field Safety Notice (FSN) is a communication sent by medical device manufacturers, or their representatives, in connection with a Field Safety Corrective Action (FSCA). If you receive a Field Safety Notice from a manufacturer, always act on it.
We place FSNs on our website for information and they will not normally require further action unless you have been contacted directly by the manufacturer or we have issued supplementary advice.

In February 2011 we changed the way we publish Field Safety Notices (FSNs) on our website. We now compile a weekly list of FSNs and publish these on a Monday afternoon (or the next working day following a public holiday), which you will receive via email alert as before.
