As part of a European-wide review, the Committee on Safety of Medicines (CSM) has reviewed the cardiovascular safety of NSAIDs. No changes to current prescribing practice are recommended on the basis of currently available evidence. Attached below is a letter from the Chairman of CSM that is being sent to healthcare professionals, questions and answers for patients, and a briefing document providing more information about the key data and findings from the review.
