On Thursday 5 April, the MHRA, Health Protection Agency (HPA) and NHS Blood & Transplant (NHSBT) issued the following updated safety information to all transplant centres in the UK about Viaspan following the product recall by Bristol Myers Squibb Pharmaceuticals on the 29 March 2012 and previous safety advice on the 23 and 26 March 2012.
