Problem:
The Infinity docking station mechanism may fail on all models of Infinity monitors. This can result in the monitor falling from its mounting.

Action by:
Anaesthetists, operating theatre practitioners, intensive care, A&E and technical staff responsible for maintenance.

Action:

  • Identify units that were made or repaired between 15 November 2004 and 08 November 2006.
  • Contact Draeger immediately if the IDS mounting is loose or unsteady.
  • Ensure all users are aware of this problem and that they follow the advice overleaf and in the Draeger notice (see appendix) regarding their continued use until the inspection has been made.
