Recall by manufacturer of all batches of the above device.

Action by:
All staff responsible for accessing and purchasing enteral feeding devices. In particular nutritional nurse specialists and dietetic departments.		  

Action:

  • Ensure that all relevant staff are aware of the manufacturer's recall notice (see Appendix in pdf).
  • Identify and isolate all affected stock and return to the manufacturer as directed in their recall notice.
  • Identify and review patients with the recalled device in-situ.
