NHS Evidence has accredited the process used by Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency Vigilance and Risk Management of Medicines (VRMM) Division to produce 'Drug Safety Update'. Accreditation is valid for three years from January 2010 and is retrospectively applicable to guidance described in the standard operating procedure (SOP) ‘Production of drug safety update’ effective from 16 July 2009.
