Medicines Act 1968 Advisory Bodies Annual Report

This section includes annnual reports from the Medicines Act 1968 Advisory Bodies.

The medicines advisory bodies were introduced under the Medicines Act 1968. They provide advice to Ministers (who are the Licensing Authority) on aspects of medicines regulation.

The advisory bodies include the:

  • Commission on Human Medicines
  • Advisory Board on the Registration of Homoeopathic Products
  • Herbal Medicines Advisory Committee
  • British Pharmacopoeia Commission

Additionally each report includes sections from the:

  • Independent Review Panel for Advertising
  • Independent Review Panel for Borderline Products
