This consultation sought your views on a number of proposals to improve the operation of the medicines’ supply chain in the UK. It also sought views on European Commission proposals to amend Directive 2001/83/EC with the aim of reducing the risk of counterfeit medicines entering the legitimate supply chain in Europe.

The deadline for comments was 13 March 2009.
