Consultation ARM 61 sought your views on the reclassification from POM to P of domperidone 10 mg tablets (Motilium 10) for the additional indications of nausea and vomiting of less than 48 hours duration.

A total of 13 responses to the consultation were received, of which eight were in favour and five had no comment.

Pharmacy availability of domperidone for the treatment of nausea and vomiting of less than 48 hours duration supports self-care. Pharmacies are conveniently located and have more flexible opening hours, including at weekends.
