Consultation ARM 65 sought your views on the Prescription Only Medicine (POM) to Pharmacy (P) reclassification of Algopain-eze Medicated Plaster which is indicated for the local symptomatic treatment of pain in acute strains, sprains or bruises of the extremities following blunt trauma, eg sport injuries. A total of 11 responses to the consultation were received, of which six were in favour, one raised issues and three had no comment. One of the responses was confidential.
