Advertising complaint - Medised (paracetamol and diphenhydramine) - Television advertisement - January 2008

A member of the public complained to the MHRA about a television (TV) advertisement for Medised produced by SSL International and broadcast on 24 January 2008. The complainant was concerned about the scene showing babies and small children crying hard, appearing distressed and showing signs of separation fear.

The MHRA did not uphold the complaint and considered that it was not a matter covered by the Advertising Regulations. The producers of the advertisement provided an assurance that all rules for child artists and minors were adhered to within the production process.
