Our negotiations in Europe - much of the legislation that  the MHRA and the UK pharmaceutical and devices industry operate is negotiated at EU level; this section outlines the decision making process by which EU legislation is negotiated and agreed.

Mutual Recognition Agreements - this section provides information about agreements that have been negotiated between the EU and third party countries allowing bodies based in the third countries to perform assessments against the EU requirements and vice versa.

Global Harmonization Task Force (GHTF) - this section provides information about the GHTF which was formed in 1992 in an effort to respond to the growing need for international harmonisation in the regulation of medical devices.
