We recently asked for your comments so that we could respond to the Commission’s review of the Clinical Trials Directive (2001/20/EC) (external link). We would like to thank those individuals and organisations that responded. These views have now been incorporated into the UK’s overall response, published on our website.
We expect that the Commission will now consider the responses that it has received before putting forward any proposals for change, the process for which is likely to begin in Spring 2010.
