Better regulation is an important Government agenda aimed at minimising bureaucracy for businesses and front-line staff in the public sector and delivering better public services. BROMI forms and important part of this initiative.
Since the third progress report, BROMI has been awarded the Better Regulation Award at the National Business Awards in November 2008 and was runner up in two categories at the Civil Service Awards, having being shortlisted from over 700 entries.
The fourth progress report reviews developments since May 2008 in the three work streams:
- patient information
- authorisation
- pharmacovigilance.
Looking forward, the report also sets out a programme of work to ensure BROMI continues to deliver in the future.
