The MISG New Technologies Advisory Panel held its fifth meeting on 29 April 2008. A copy of the minutes from the meeting is available below:

The Advisory Panel discussed the progress on the Earlier Access to Medicines and Cardiovascular Imaging Forums, the plans for future Forums on Safety Biomarkers and Benefit-Risk Analysis and a process for agreeing new Panel members. The next Advisory Panel meeting is on 3 November 2008. Organisations and members of the public are hereby invited to submit proposals for topics to be discussed by the Advisory Panel and Forum for this meeting. A proposed template format for topic suggestions is below and potential topics should be sent to Ian Hudson at the MHRA (Ian.Hudson@mhra.gsi.gov.uk) or Karen Miller at the ABPI (kmiller@abpi.org.uk). The closing date for receipt of topics is 3 October 2008.
