Bioforce complained to the MHRA about a website produced by Herbfacts for consumers. The complainant was concerned that the website promoted Schwabe Pharma products for use outside of their registration, as it contains descriptions of uses of medicinal herbs and links to a website where Schwabe Pharma products containing the herb could be purchased.
The MHRA upheld the complaint. Herbfacts agreed to amend the website to include the registered indication next to the product name to ensure the use of the product was clear.
