Advertising complaint - Abnobaviscum Mali (endotrine), Murrays Healthcare Website - March 2008

A healthcare professional complained to the MHRA about the advertising of Abnobaviscum Mali (Abnoba) on Murrays Healthcare website. The complainant was concerned that the website was advertising an unlicensed homeopathic injection as an anti-cancer treatment.

The MHRA upheld the complaint and considered that the website was in breach of regulation 3(1) of the Advertising Regulations as the product did not hold a homeopathic registration in force in the UK. Murrays Healthcare agreed to remove all references to the product from their website.
