Electrosurgery

We have produced a series of educational packages covering medical device topics that have been reported as areas of concern or as problems through our Adverse Incident Centre. Most of the packages come with a quiz to assess knowledge gained and are certified, and a number are recognised, by Royal Colleges.

Some packages contain video of operations and may not be for the squeamish. These training aids are free to use and require no passwords.

They include the following modules:

  • Basic observations
  • Devices in practice (basic principles of device purchasing and management)
  • Electrosurgery (diathermy)
  • Anaesthetic machines
