The MHRA is responsible for safeguarding public health by making sure that medicines and medical devices work, and are safe. If it is to be successful in this mission, the Agency must effectively communicate accurate and timely information about the benefits and risks of medicines and medical devices to key stakeholders, including the public, patients, healthcare professionals, researchers and industry.
Before accepting an invitation to speak, we consider the following:
- if this speaking engagement is in line with our current business objectives
- if the MHRA is already planning to speak on this subject, including at an MHRA-organised event.
We accept speaker requests only where the event would provide us with an opportunity to engage with key stakeholders that is not otherwise available.
Please note that some form of financial compensation may be applicable if the event is a commercial profile event; please refer to speaker fees section for further information. Please note that you will be required to accept our standard terms and conditions in order to submit a request.
We suggest that you review these before making your request. All requests must be submitted via online Speaker Request Form.
