Pharmacovigilance Expert Advisory Group of the Commission on Human Medicines

To advise the Commission established under Section 2 of the Medicines Act on the following in relation to human medicines including herbal products:

• the public health importance of potential new signals
• the confirmation and quantification of risks identified
• appropriate risk minimisation measures including communications
• design and progress of pharmacovigilance plans
• methodologies for pharmacovigilance.
