Pharmacovigilance Expert Advisory Group of the Commission on Human Medicines

Remit

To advise the Commission established under Section 2 of the Medicines Act on the following in relation to human medicines including herbal products:

• The public health importance of potential new signals
• The confirmation and quantification of risks identified
• Appropriate risk minimisation measures including communications
• Design and progress of pharmacovigilance plans
• Methodologies for pharmacovigilance.
