Independent Scientific Advisory Committee for MHRA database research (ISAC) annual reports

The first ever annual report by the ISAC has been published today on the MHRA website.

The ISAC was created in 2006 to review the scientific merit of proposals for research using data from the General Practice Research Database (GPRD) and the Yellow Card Scheme.  The annual report highlights the achievements of the Committee's first year and provides useful information to researchers wishing to apply for data.  Researchers are encouraged to apply to use MHRA data in studies that will benefit public health.
