Dr Carl Waldmann has been a member of the Council of the Intensive Care Society since 1999 and has been its president since 2007.
Until 2008 he was Chair of the Technology Assessment and Health Informatics of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine. He is also Editor of the Journal of Care of the Critically Ill and founding Editor of the Journal of Intensive Care Society.
