We are committed to improving internal working relationships and communication through all staff meetings, briefings at divisional meetings and the use of our Intranet. In addition to this, our open plan offices encourage communication and interaction between staff.
There are also numerous opportunities for staff to act as representatives on working groups and committees across the organisation and have a say in matters that affect the organisation as a whole.
Individual teams can also arrange team ‘away days’ which are an excellent opportunity for teams to interact and work together in a more relaxed environment. This is a way to celebrate success, spend some time together and support each other with further development.
As an organisation we also have other events throughout the year including summer parties, Christmas parties, quiz nights and karaoke nights, where you will have the opportunity to build relationships with people in other divisions as well as in your own team.
There are also various clubs in the MHRA you can join if you have an interest. Exercise classes are run throughout the week at Market Towers. And you may want to try the wine-tasting club or even choose to learn French! There is also the opportunity to become involved in wider Civil Service clubs for specific interests.
