Shelley Dolan was appointed Chief Nurse at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in June 2007, having previously been Nurse Consultant Cancer: Critical Care. Shelley has a wealth of clinical experience involving the use of a wide range of medical devices, medicines and clinical research trials. Shelley is the Director of Infection Prevention and Control at the Royal Marsden and is involved in a research programme concentrating on the early identification of sepsis in the person with cancer. Shelley is also the Chair of the Royal Marsden Local Research Ethics Committee. In 2007 Shelley was appointed to the Clinical Advisory Group for Healthcare for London.
